The seminar will represent an occasion for discussing the present situation of Somalia with particular reference to the University and the academic situation. The seminar is inserted into the framework of a project of international cooperation that sees the University of Trieste – and the Department of Economics, Business, Mathematics and Statistics in particular – involved to support the Somali National University from the research and teaching needs point of view. It will represent an occasion to have an insight into the current situation of Somalia and the opportunities to cooperate and implement possible actions in terms of research and collaborations.
