Internships and Placements
What is an internship?
An internship, or training and guidance traineeship, in the terminology of the law, is an opportunity that allows for moments of alternation between study and work as part of training processes and to facilitate professional choices through direct knowledge of the world of work (Law no. 196 of 24 June 1997).
Internship applications (agreements and training projects) must be received by the Internship Office completed and signed in full and scanned (with an attached ID document) at least ten days before the start of the internship.
There are two types of internship:
- "curricular", to be carried out during the university career, with or without recognition of training credits;
- 'extracurricular (postgraduate)', after the university degree has been obtained.
To have an internship abroad apply for the Erasmus + traineeship program (More information HERE) and write to International Mobility Office: outgoing.students@amm.units.it.
