Functions of the Departmental Quality Assurance Group

Adheres to the Quality Assurance (QA) guidelines established by the Quality Plan (PQ) and disseminates them within the Department.

Ensures the correct completion of the SUA-CdS, SUA-RD, and SUA TM/IS (within its remit), the annual Monitoring Forms for each Degree Programme, the Cyclical Review Reports of Degree Programmes, and PhD programme reviews.

Supports the Head of Department in the Departmental Review process and in drafting the corresponding report.

Assists the Head of Department in the annual monitoring of the objectives of the Departmental Strategic Plan and related indicators, as well as in planning improvement actions and verifying their effectiveness.

Promotes communication internally and with other structures involved in QA processes related to teaching, research, and IPS-TM.

Through the QA Delegate, ensures the link between the Quality Plan (PQ) and the Department and fosters a culture of quality within the Department, including among students involved in QA processes.

Oversees the preparation of the Departmental Self-Evaluation Report and supervises/verifies the self-evaluations carried out by Degree Programmes and PhD programmes, in the context of NuV hearings and ANVUR site visits for periodic accreditation when selected.
