ENROLLMENT – BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAMMES

ENROLLMENT – BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAMMES 2026/2027

In order to be admitted to a Degree Programme in the fields of Economics or Business, prospective students are required to take, by the enrollment deadline, a TOLC-E test for Italian-taught curricula or a CEnT-S test for English-taught curricula.

Applicants who obtain a score below 9 in the TOLC-E, or below 8 in the CEnT-S, may still enroll with Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) and take first-year exams. These requirements will be fulfilled by passing the Matematica Generale (General Mathematics) exam for Italian-taught curricula, or the Mathematics exam for English-taught curricula.

Students who do not fulfill the OFA within the first year may still enroll in the second year; however, they will not be allowed to take second-year exams until they have passed the Matematica Generale or Mathematics exam.

You can prepare for the test using the free app: thefacultyapp.com/app

Applicants holding SAT or GMAT certifications are exempt from taking the TOLC-E/CEnT-S if they have obtained a total score of at least 800 out of 1600 on the SAT, or 400 out of 800 on the GMAT.

For enrollment in the English-taught curricula, English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level is also required, officially attested by appropriate documentation that must be submitted by the enrollment deadline.

In order to be admitted to the Degree Programme in Statistics, prospective students are required to take, by the enrollment deadline, a TOLC-S, TOLC-I, or TOLC-E test.

Applicants who obtain a score below 13 in the TOLC-S (considering only the Basic Mathematics and Reasoning, Problem Solving and Reading Comprehension sections), or below 18 in the TOLC-I, or below 13 in the TOLC-E, may still enroll with Additional Learning Requirements (OFA). The Department will organize a support course to help students address any identified gaps.

These requirements will be fulfilled by passing the Mathematics for Economics and Statistics 1 exam. Students who do not fulfill the OFA within the first year may still enroll in the second year; however, they will not be allowed to take second-year exams until they have passed the Mathematics for Economics and Statistics 1 exam.

You can prepare for the test using the free app: thefacultyapp.com/app

Further details on admission requirements are available on the Degree Programme webpage, under the “Enrollment” section.
