The regional workshop “LEAP TO BLUE: Opportunities and Services for Blue Economy SMEs” will be held on January 15, 2026, at 4:00 PM, in Room 1_A (Building D) at the main campus of the University of Trieste.

The event is designed to present the LEAP TO BLUE project, funded by the Interreg Italy–Croatia 2021–2027 Program. The University of Trieste is a project partner through the Department of Economics, Business, Mathematics and Statistics (DEAMS). The session will focus on the project's core pillars, thematic areas, and the voucher scheme specifically developed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating within the Blue Economy.

The workshop will also provide an open platform for dialogue and engagement between SMEs and potential service providers. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute during a Q&A session and a roundtable discussion dedicated to key training and skills required in the Blue Economy sector.

PROGRAM

The event will conclude with a networking reception, providing an informal setting to exchange contacts and explore potential collaborations.

Language: The workshop will be conducted in Italian, with simultaneous translation available for non-Italian speaking participants.
