Course Outlines:
The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to the modeling and valuation of fixed income securities and their derivatives in (discrete) arbitrage-free markets. Time permitting, the course will also include a brief introduction to credit risk and credit derivatives.

(struttura a termine dei tassi d'interesse) e di Calcolo delle Probabilità
(elementi di processi stocastici), di avere familiarità con alcuni strumenti
finanziari derivati (Opzioni e Swaps) e di conoscere
la metodologia per la valutazione di attività finanziarie in assenza di
opportunità di arbitraggio.
Contents:
Nel corso saranno affrontati i seguenti argomenti:
- valutazione in mercati discreti privi di opportunità
di arbitraggio di titoli a reddito fisso e derivati
su tassi d'interesse;
- descrizione e misurazione del rischio di credito;
- credit derivatives;
